Notary signature

A notary public is a public official appointed by a state government to help deter fraud. Notary publics witness the signing of important documents and verify the identity of the signer (s), their willingness to sign the documents, and their awareness of the contents of the document or transaction. In some cases, a notary will also verify the identity of people who are making oaths. The apostille certificate is added to a document that bears the signature of a public official or the seal of an official document. Many documents do not have a public signature or seal and need to be certified by a solicitor or notary before they can be legalised legalised by apostille.
